Who's Ready for Some Sake?

Sake Sho Chiku Bai Vanilla Custard Cinnamon Sushi Chef Orange County OC Sushi World

Who isn't ready for some sake? This bottle is Sho Chiku Bai, which is a Tokubetsu Junmai. It has aromas of Vanilla, Custard, Cinnamon, and Toasted Rice. Sushi just tastes so much better when it's coupled with the right type of sake. Our servers are well versed and will be able to point you in the correct direction, depending on your tastes and what you order. Some sakes taste better only after eating certain types of fish. That's why we have sake tastings.

We understand that sometimes, you want a specific sake for your particular sushi experience. That's why we always have an extensive list of sake to choose from. We have lighter ones. We have drier ones. And we also have ones with a slight fruity taste. Ask our servers what they recommend if you do not know what to select. And, if you're unsure about a new sake, see if we have a smaller bottle like the ones pictured. They're great to try out for the first time or to drink by yourself. And they also make your hands look big.

You really have to brace yourself before taking the whole shot, which we highly encourage you to do so that you can fully appreciate all the different flavors meshing with one another.
