For our Catholic friends, today is Ash Wednesday and therefore the start to Lent. We just wanted to remind everyone that we are heavily, heavily Lent-Approved by the Catholic Church ;-). Just about anything you can get from the sushi bar is lent approved. If you order items from the kitchen, might not be. like our chicken bento boxes. But that does mean that you can get any fish we have on display, like the pictured tuna sushi and sashimi. You can also get a smoked salmon collar or even Amaebi (sweet shrimp.) Yep, swing on by after mass. We'll take good care of you.
Beautiful, translucent, sweet shrimp. Yum. Yep, they're in stock and alive for the taking. Absolutely one of our favorite items so we always eat them ourselves when they're in stock. Our chefs masterfully serve up the tails of the amaebi with a just a hint of wasabi and rice, if you'd like. They then deep fry the heads for you so you can just eat those like fries, except these are much better. If you do dip it in soy sauce, make sure you only dip it a bit. Doesn't need much because the shrimp itself is so darn tasty.
Thanksgiving is over! Time to go shopping! But wait! Don't forget to take a break from all that shopping and get something to eat. Since you're on a hot streak of finding good deals, come on in to Sushi World and take advantage of our awesome deal going on everyday for Happy Hour from 2pm till 5pm and all day on Mondays and Tuesdays On top of those specials, we also have a few more items on the happy hour menu like the pictured spicy tuna cakes Come on in, fuel up, and then head on back out there and find us a good Christmas present!
Being a sushi restaurant, not all of our fish or food is served raw. We also have a full kitchen behind our sushi bar ready to serve up a number of various items for patrons looking for something other than sushi, like Hamachi Kama (Yellowtail Collar), Salmon Colllar, Salmon Teriyaki, Chicken Katsu, and the pictured, Miso Marinated Black Cod. They can come a la carte (with rice), or as a combo with Miso Soup, Rice, House Salad, and 5 pieces of Mixed Tempura. It's a great option, especially when you come with a big group where someone is not yet comfortable with sushi.
