Every time you come to visit Sushi World, you can have something different. And we encourage you to try something different every time. Some items to consider adding to your sushi repertoire are our Japanese Jumbo Scallops, in-house made Ankimo (Monkfish Liver), fresh Amaebi (Live Sweet Shrimp) with deep fried heads, and our freshly shucked Oysters on a half shell. All are fantastic on their own but we highly recommend you try them all out eventually.
A very popular dish among sushi aficionados is ankimo, also known as monkfish liver. If you enjoy foie gras, you'll especially enjoy our ankimo because we make ours in-house. It's been called the foie gras of the sea with its delectably rich taste and texture. We serve our ankimo in perfect little medallions with some gelatin and sesame seeds as garnish. Ankimo is one of those dishes where the longer you let it sit out and cool down to room temperature, the better it will taste. Next time you come in, give it a try if you're an adventurous sushi lover with exquisite taste buds.
If you enjoy foie gras, then you should give our ankimo a try. It's made from monkfish liver and made in house. You should try it if you come by and visit us this weekend. This is the one item on our menu that the longer you leave it out, the better it tastes. But of course, don't leave it out too long. That would be ridiculous. Leaving it to about room temperature is probably optimal. It's very rich and packed with flavor.
You're not going to find a better omakase sushi deal in Orange County than ours! We have two different set omakase meals to choose from and they're reasonably priced! This picture is of our second meal, which is priced at $68.95. It comes with three different starters, 10 pieces of sushi, a baked blue crab roll, and a dessert! A complete meal! You'll get a good variety of everything we do and you can even share it with someone! Makes ordering so easy! Especially if you're the indecisive type.
