While it's not always on our Specials Board, you should try to order it whenever you do see Mackerel on there. Also known as Saba, Mackerel is very distinctive in its appearance thanks to its shiny skin. It's not for everyone, as there might be a fishy aftertaste that many sushi novices aren't used to. But if you have had it and have enjoyed it, you will also reap the benefits of it being a very healthy fish to eat as it is very high in fish oils, like Omega 3, which is why it is so shiny in the first place. It is a very underrated fish in the sushi world but we most definitely love it at Sushi World.
