We, at Sushi World, are always trying new things, especially when it comes to improving on some old, traditional favorites. Normally, Tako Wasa is made with raw octopus but we have recently switched it to cooked octopus. This makes a huge difference as raw octopus is very bland and slimy and most importantly, hard to pick up with some chopsticks. So the pictured is the new version, with cooked octopus, pickled wasabi, and wasabi oil. It's a great starter, especially with some beer and/or sake. Of course, the traditional Tako Wasa is still available upon request.
