And of course, getting a big bottle of sake isn't mandatory but it sure helps, especially if you do decide to drink with our chefs. :-)

Kikusui Sake

Kikusui Junmai Ginjo Chrysanthemum Water Orange County OC Sushi World Sake

One of the most popular sakes out there right now is Kikusui Junmai Ginjo. It's brewed with rice, water, and yeast out of Niigata-ken and is considered a dry sake. It's also called, "Chrysanthemum Water." We have heard from several customers that they notice hints of cantaloupe with a slight banana aroma in this sake Or maybe, you might taste something different? If so, we'd love to hear about it! It goes great with all kinds of sushi so it's a great one to get in general. We always have both a small bottle and a large bottle chilled and ready to serve.
