We have a tank of live sweet shrimp always ready for our special customers who enjoy amaebi. We understand that it's not for everyone but we do strongly suggest you try it at least once in your lifetime. We use the body of the live sweet shrimp and make it into a nigiri sushi or sashimi (your choice!) that is absolutely delicious. And then, we take the heads, lightly batter them, and then deep fry them for you. It's like eating sweet shrimp potato chips. So you have the two contrasting textures: the softness of the shrimp's body and the crunchiness of the heads.
We have everything to complete a meal, including awesome desserts! This dessert is simplest of all but sometimes, all you need is a little Green Tea Ice Cream to finish off your meal. It's not always garnished the same but when we usually have these items in stock, we will garish it with slices of strawberries, whipped cream, and a mint leaf. Yes, you can eat all the garnishes, too. Green Tea. It's good for you.
If you enjoy foie gras, then you should give our ankimo a try. It's made from monkfish liver and made in house. You should try it if you come by and visit us this weekend. This is the one item on our menu that the longer you leave it out, the better it tastes. But of course, don't leave it out too long. That would be ridiculous. Leaving it to about room temperature is probably optimal. It's very rich and packed with flavor.
We love our Sushi Chefs! They are our front line and they always do their best to represent us well. We believe it is their dedication to always serve you love on a plate that has gotten us to where we are today. And we are grateful. Always, always feel free to sit at the sushi bar whenever it is available and get to know our sushi chefs. They're a great bunch and if you have a rapport with them, they'll surely be able to customize your sushi love on a plate to your preferences. That's always a good thing.
You know our Poke Bowl is seriously good because we only use our very own fresh sushi-grade fish for our Poke. We take fresh chunks of Tuna and Albacore and mix it with our very own Hawaiian Poke sauce. Each bowl is accompanied by some seaweed, cucumbers, avocado, tamago (egg), and masago. Oh, and somewhere at the bottom of the bowl is our sushi-grade rice. It's a pretty complete meal and great for lunch or dinner or whenever. Great to get to-go and eat at the beach or park or during a boring meeting at work.
We really shouldn't have to say much about this beauty. Just look at it. Absolutely beautiful. The fattiest and most delicious part of our Bluefin Tuna is the most desired and you can easily see why. You can see the beautiful fatty lines running all across these pieces of sashimi. Of course, this is in very limited supply so you better hurry up and come on in and get it while we still have it. Of course, our regular Bluefin Tuna Sashimi isn't bad either so that's always an option if we're out of Toro.
We love Spanish Tapas and we realize why. Essentially, sushi is much like the Japanese version of the Spanish Tapas: small, tasty bites eaten with an alcoholic beverage. Every time you take a seat at our sushi bar, it's much like getting Tapas. You pick whatever you wish, like the lineup in the picture of Tako (Octopus), Hotategai (Jumbo Scallops), Tai (Red Snapper), and Cherry Salmon. And then, of course, be sure to have some beer or sake to help wash it all down and clean your palette for the next tasty morsel. Yep, we've got Tapas.
