As we come to the end of another awesome year in Orange County, we'd like to send out a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has helped make us what we are today. Every year, we have gotten better and better and we're just so grateful to be able to run a respectable sushi restaurant in Orange County. So cheers to you! We hope you all had a wonderful year as well and hope to see you often in the coming year. We do have some exciting things to share with all of you so stay tuned. For now, enjoy our awesome Hawaiian Tuna Poke.
Despite having $2.50 sushi during our happy hour, our appetizers are also very popular. Each serving is only $3.50 each and we have 10 different choices to entice your taste buds! One of our favorites is our baked mussels. It's so simple and oh so yummy. We also have spicy garlic edamame, shishito peppers, beef tataki, chicken yakitori, jalapeno poppers, squid karaage kushi, baked scallop, fried aji, and chicken gyoza. We know not everyone is going to be in the mood for sushi so this helps balance out your meal. You know what balances it out even more?
For some who may need a little help finding us, we've drawn up this handy dandy map for you. It shows that we are near the major intersection of Katella and Knott and also near Target. It's kinda nice to be able to hit up Target whenever you're out of cereal, lotion, or tampons. It's even nicer to be able to grab some sushi anytime you want when you're making a Target run. And unlike most Japanese restaurants, we're open between lunch and dinner.
A current special that can easily be added to our regular menu is Iitako Karaage, otherwise known as Fried Baby Octopus. There are three babies to an order and they're quite delicious, even for being babies. But don't think of it as eating babies. Think of it as eating delicious morsels of fried gifts from the sea. Yeah, think of it that way and you'll enjoy them as much as we do. Swing on by soon and always check our specials board first before ordering. You might be pleasantly surprised.
Just because you love sushi doesn't mean you have to go without dessert at Sushi World! We have quite the extensive dessert menu such as the pictured Baileys Chocolate Mousse. It's decadently rich and smooth and a great way to end a meal at Sushi World, especially if you have a sweet tooth. If chocolate mousse is not for you, we also have 11 other desserts to choose from. So swing on by for some sushi, sake, and desserts soon.
Due to popular demand, Sushi World now offers Christmas Gift Certificates! They're available in $25, $50, and $100 increments. We know how difficult it is to find the right present for everyone but this one surely will make things easier for you. You can come by for lunch or dinner and then purchase the gift certificates at the same time. You get dinner and your presents done in one shot. Wow, talk about efficiency.
By popular demand, Anthony Francisco will be back at Sushi World this Wednesday, December 13th with his live acoustic performance playing a mix of covers and originals with both island and r&b styles. Have some sushi and sake and sit back and let Anthony dazzle you with his smooth sounds. Perfect way to ease the stress. He will be playing from 6pm till 9pm. Come on out and support our local artists.
One of our favorite items to always get while at the sushi bar is Hamachi, or Yellowtail. It's also known as Japanese Amberjack, though we think that name's too long and that's why we don't usually use it. We always try to include a little bit of the bloodline in our Yellowtail so you can always tell it's the real thing. It also makes it tastier. Yellowtail is always on the Sushi World Happy Hour menu for $2.99 for 2 pieces. Also included in the $2.99 Happy Hour sushi is salmon, peppered salmon, albacore, escolar, shrimp, and natto.
